Caramel Apple Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 large Granny Smith apples, sliced to bite-size with peelings on
    1 c. crushed dry roasted nuts
    1 large can crushed and drained pineapple
    2 1/2 c. powdered sugar
    2 eggs
    1 c. butter (room temperature)
Preparation
    Mix the following ingredients together at least 5 minutes with electric mixer:
    powdered sugar, eggs and butter.
    Blend in 1 medium Cool Whip, then mix in fruit.
    Put nuts on top just before serving.
