Pinto Bean Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. dried pinto beans
    water
    1/4 lb. lean ham, cubed
    1 c. chicken broth
    1 large green pepper, chopped
    2 chopped large red bell peppers
    4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
    2 tsp. cayenne pepper
    1 Tbsp. honey
Preparation
    Soak beans overnight in water to cover.
    Rinse beans, then place them in a 4-quart saucepot and cover again with water.
    Cook over high heat until the water boils rapidly.
    Drain beans into a colander.
    Rinse with cold water.
    Wash pot to remove all starch accumulated on sides.
