Shrimp Gumbo - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 onion, chopped
1 c. bell pepper, chopped
1 garlic clove
2 tsp. oil
2 (14 oz.) cans stewed tomatoes
1 can chicken broth
2 Tbsp. Creole seasoning
4 oz. egg noodles
3/4 lb. peeled, deveined shrimp
1/2 tsp. parsley
Preparation

Saute onion, pepper and garlic in oil over medium-high heat for 3 minutes.
Stir in tomatoes, broth and Creole seasoning.
Boil. Add noodles and lower heat to medium; simmer for 8 minutes.
Stir in shrimp and parsley.
Simmer 3 to 5 minutes or until shrimp are done.
Serves 5 to 6.
