Turtle Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 German chocolate cake mix
    6 oz. can condensed milk
    14 oz. bag caramels
    2/3 c. butter or oleo
    1/2 c. chocolate chips
    1 1/2 c. pecans
Preparation
    Prepare cake as directed. Pour half of batter in greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake 20 minutes at 350\u00b0. Melt caramels with butter and condensed milk. Pour over cake and sprinkle with chocolate chips and pecans. Pour rest of batter on top and bake another 20 minutes at 350\u00b0.
