Hard Cinnamon Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    2 c. light Karo syrup
    1 c. water
    1 1/2 tsp. oil of cinnamon
    red food coloring
Preparation
    Heat sugar, syrup and water to 310\u00b0.
    Add cinnamon and stir well.
    Add food coloring; stir well.
    Pour onto a well buttered cookie sheet.
    Cut into small pieces when edges start getting firm.
    Sprinkle with confectioners sugar to prevent sticking together.
    Store in an airtight container.
