Low-Fat Apple Dessert With "Creamy" Topping(6 Servings) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 Granny Smith or other cooking apple (don't use Delicious apples)
    1/2 c. raisins
    1 tsp. butter extract, rum butter extract, caramel extract or any combination
    1/3 c. sugar
    finely chopped zest and juice of one lemon
    1/4 c. water
Preparation
    Peel and core the apple then dice them.
    Put them in a pot with the next five ingredients, cover and boil on medium heat 10 minutes, no more.
    Don't overcook.
    Chill.
