Turtle Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Duncan Hines Swiss chocolate cake mix
    1 stick butter
    1/2 c. evaporated milk
    1 c. pecans
    14 oz. caramels
    1 c. chocolate chips
Preparation
    Make cake mix according to package directions.
    Pour 1/2 mixture in 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes until done.
    Melt caramels, milk and butter on stove.
    Pour this over the baked cake.
    Sprinkle nuts and chocolate chips on top of this.
    Pour rest of batter on top of this and bake 15 to 20 minutes.
    Top with desired topping.
