Chocolate Caramels - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. butter
    2 squares chocolate unsweetened
    1 cup sugar
    3/4 cup white karo syrup
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 cup thick whipping cream
Preparation
    Cook and stir over low heat the above to soft ball stage 240. Add 1/2 cup cream and cook to soft ball stage 240.
    Add 1/2 cup cream and paraffin wax (size of a walnut) cook to firm ball stage 248.
    Pour into buttered pan- let set till cool, then cut and wrap.
