Hodge-Podge Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 carrots
    4 stalks celery
    1 or 2 zucchini
    2 large potatoes
    1 large onion
    1 can chicken broth
    3/4 c. water
    1/2 c. half and half or milk
    4 Tbsp. or more butter
    salt
    lemon pepper
    seasoning salt
Preparation
    Slice all vegetables and cook in melted butter and water until soft.
    Season to taste.
    Blend all ingredients (except chicken broth and half and half) in blender, while slowly adding chicken broth.
    Return to saucepan and add half and half.
    Taste again for desired seasoning.
