Creamy Green Bean Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    green beans
    onions
    beef bouillon cubes
    1/4 c. margarine
    1/2 c. flour
    1 tall can evaporated milk plus water (to thinness desired)
    grated Cheddar cheese
    croutons
Preparation
    Cook green beans and onions in water flavored with beef bouillon cubes.
    Cool and put through blender.
    Use 1/4 cup margarine and 1/2 cup flour per quart of blended material. Combine and cook.
    Add bean puree; bring to boil.
    Add evaporated milk.
    Heat to serving temperature.
    Serve topped with cheese and croutons.
    This is an excellent way to use the green beans that have gotten too large.
    Use fewer bouillon cubes to cut down on salt!
