Mrs. John Martin'S Sponge Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 egg yolks
    2/3 c. water
    1/2 tsp. lemon flavoring
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Beat together egg yolks, water and flavoring, then add sugar and beat again.
    Sift together remaining ingredients.
    Add last 5 egg whites, beaten until very stiff.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 or lower.
