Pears In Caramel Sauce(Serves 6) - cooking recipe

6 medium pears (not too ripe)
3 to 4 Tbsp. sugar
1/3 stick butter
1 c. heavy cream
1 to 2 Tbsp. pecans
Preparation

Peel and split pears.
Remove seeds and core.
Place flat side down in a baking dish in a single layer.
