Dill Bean Sticks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    fresh green beans
    fresh dill
    garlic
    2 c. white vinegar
    2 c. water
    1/4 c. salt
    1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
Preparation
    Wash and clean beans. Leave whole. Parboil, covered, in unsalted boiling water about 10 minutes or until just crisply tender. Drain and rinse with cold water. Put half clove of garlic and head of one fresh dill in each jar. Pack beans in jars upright. Heat vinegar, salt and cayenne to boiling. Pour into jars and seal. Liquid will cover four 16 ounce jars.
