Sweet Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 to 10 medium size sweet potatoes, canned or fresh
    1 can (29 oz.) pear halves
    1/2 c. butter, melted
    1 c. maple blend syrup
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation
    If potatoes are canned, drain.
    If fresh, cook in boiling salted water until tender.
    Peel.
    Potatoes may be left whole or sliced as desired.
