Buttermilk Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. self-rising flour
    2 tsp. confectioners sugar
    1 1/4 c. buttermilk
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. butter-flavored Crisco
    melted butter to brush on top of biscuits
Preparation
    Mix flour, baking powder and sugar.
    Cut in shortening; stir in buttermilk.
    Knead dough a few times.
    Roll out on a floured board.
    Cut with a cookie cutter.
    Bake in a preheated 450\u00b0 oven for 12 minutes.
    Remove from oven and brush with melted butter.
