Swedish Meat Balls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 lb. ground beef
1/4 lb. ground pork
3 Tbsp. chopped onion
1 egg
1/2 c. milk
3 slices fresh bread (crusts removed)
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation

Mix beef and pork together.
Soak bread cubes in milk and egg mixture.
Add rest of ingredients and add to meat.
Mix well with hands until blended.
Form into balls about size of walnuts. Brown meat balls in 2 tablespoons fat (or oil) on all sides.
When all are browned, add beef broth (about 1 cup) and cook, covered, until done, about 20 to 30 minutes.
