Marinade For Venison Or Other Wild Game - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. dry red wine
    2 Tbsp. salad oil
    2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. coarsely ground pepper
    1/4 tsp. thyme leaves
    2 medium onions, thinly sliced
    1 garlic clove
Preparation
    In Dutch oven, mix all ingredients.
    Add venison or other wild game; cover and refrigerate overnight.
    Makes enough marinade for 5 pounds of meat.
