Watergate Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. pistachio instant pudding (dry)
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
    1 c. or more miniature marshmallows
    1 medium size container Cool Whip
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts (optional)
Preparation
    Mix pudding and pineapple together and mix in other ingredients and chill.
    May be frozen and taken out about one hour before serving.
    Also good frozen.
    Some people add maraschino cherries to give festive look.
    Other people add 1/3 cup of coconut flakes.
