Hot Butterscotch Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. hot water
    1 Tbsp. butter
    5 1/2 c. milk
    pinch of salt
    2 tsp. vanilla
    whipping cream
    nutmeg
Preparation
    Caramelize (melt) brown sugar, over medium heat, stirring constantly.
    Add water and bring to boiling.
    Add butter and cook several minutes.
    Add milk and heat, not allowing to boil, stirring constantly.
    Add salt and vanilla.
    Pour in mugs with dollop of whipped cream sprinkled with nutmeg.
