German Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. boiling water
    1 bar (4 oz.) sweet cooking chocolate
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. margarine or butter, softened
    4 egg yolks
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/2 c. cake flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. buttermilk
    4 egg whites, stiffly beaten
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease 2 square pans, 8 x 8 x 2-inch or 9 x 9 x 2-inch or 3 round pans 9 x 1 1/2-inches.
    Line bottom of pans with waxed paper.
    Pour boiling water on chocolate, stirring until chocolate is melted; cool.
