Strawberry Dessert - cooking recipe

1 angel food cake
1 c. sugar
2 (8 oz.) cartons nondairy whipped topping
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 qt. fresh strawberries, sliced
1 pkg. strawberry glaze
14 Oreo cookies
1/2 c. butter
1 c. confectioners sugar
1 egg
few drops almond flavoring
1 pt. whipping cream
1/2 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Crush Oreos.
Line 9-inch pie pan or an 8-inch square pan with most of crushed cookies (save some for topping).
Cream butter and sugar.
Add egg.
Cream again.
Add almond flavoring.
Spread this mixture on crumbs.
Whip cream with sugar.
Add vanilla and chopped pecans.
Fold until well blended.
Spread this on first mixture.
Cover with crushed wafers.
Let stand in refrigerator for 24 hours.
Makes 6 to 8 servings.
