Crock-Pot Goetta - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. water
    2 1/2 c. pinehead oats
    salt to taste
    pepper to taste
    1 lb. ground chuck
    1 lb. sage flavored sausage
    1 large chopped onion
    5 bay leaves
    1 1/2 tsp. sage
    6 Tbsp. instant beef bouillon
Preparation
    Cook on High in covered crock-pot for 1 1/2 hours the first 4 ingredients.
    Mix rest of ingredients and cook on low in covered crock-pot for 5 hours.
    Remove lid and cook 1/2 hour longer. Place in 2 loaf pans; cool and refrigerate.
    Remove from pans and freeze until ready to use.
