Linguini With White Clam Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    linguini
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 Tbsp. olive oil
    1/8 tsp. garlic
    1 Tbsp. flour
    2 (6 1/2 oz.) cans chopped clams
    1/2 c. white cooking wine
    2 Tbsp. parsley
    1/4 tsp. thyme
    1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Heat butter and olive oil in medium saucepan or skillet.
    Add garlic.
    Cook 1 minute. Stir in flour until absorbed.
    Stir in juice from chopped clams.
    Stir in white cooking wine, parsley, thyme and pepper.
    Cook, stirring, until slightly thickened.
    Add reserved clams and cook until heated through.
    Serve over linguini.
    Serves 2.
