Ozark Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg, beaten
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 to 3 heaping Tbsp. flour
    1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. black walnuts or pecans, chopped
    3/4 c. chopped apples
Preparation
    Grease pie pan (preferably glass).
    Preheat oven to 325\u00b0. Combine egg and sugar in bowl.
    Add flour; mix until mixture cleans sides of bowl (will be little thicker than muffin mix). Add rest of ingredients; mix well.
    Pour into pie pan.
    (It will spread out; don't you do it.)
    It will spread itself in the oven. Bake for 35 minutes, or until top is crusty.
    Top with whipped cream or Cool Whip.
