Rich Corn Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. yellow cornmeal
    1 c. flour
    4 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. baking soda
    2 tsp. cream of tartar (optional)
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. sour cream
    1/4 c. milk
    2 eggs
    4 Tbsp. melted butter
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 425\u00b0.
    Butter a 9 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
    Combine the cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking soda, cream of tartar and salt; mix well.
    Quickly add the sour cream, milk, eggs and butter. Mix.
    Spoon into pans and bake 20 minutes.
    Cool and cut in squares.
