Clam Bisque - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can (6 oz.) mushrooms (stems and pieces)
    2 cans (6 1/2 oz. each) minced or chopped clams
    1/2 c. minced onions
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1/4 tsp. each salt and pepper
    2 c. half and half or Coffee Rich
Preparation
    Drain mushrooms and clams.
    Reserve liquid.
    Saute mushrooms, clams and onions in butter for 10 minutes.
    Blend in flour, salt and pepper and simmer 5 minutes.
    Stir in half and half; bring it to a boil.
    Cool 5 minutes.
    Pour half of mixture in blender, blending until smooth.
    Return to saucepan and heat.
    Makes 4 to 6 servings.
