Ice Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 eggs
    2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 qt. milk
    2 large cans Pet evaporated milk
    2 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix sugar, cornstarch and salt until smooth.
    Beat eggs until yellow.
    Add sugar and the cornstarch mixture along with vanilla and the milk.
    Cook until done (thickened).
    Cool.
    (Add fruit, if desired).
    Freeze in churn.
