Squash Fritters - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. cooked squash and onion
    2 eggs, beaten
    3/4 c. self-rising flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. sugar
    3/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cook squash
    and onion in small amount of water.
    Mash. Beat eggs.
    Sift dry ingredients.
    Add eggs to squash mixture. Add dry ingredients.
    Mix.\tDrop
    from
    spoon into hot oil or onto griddle with shallow oil.
    Cook until done.
