5-Layer Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 head lettuce, shredded
3 stalks celery, chopped
1 green pepper, cut up
1 large onion, chopped
1 small pkg. frozen peas (cook 1 minute)
2 c. Hellmann's mayonnaise
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 lb. bacon
1 pkg. shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation

Mix lettuce, celery, green pepper, onion and peas.
Mix together mayonnaise and sugar.
Spread over salad.
Cut up and fry bacon until crisp and sprinkle over top.
Sprinkle shredded Cheddar cheese over top.
Refrigerate several hours or overnight.
