Oatmeal Crispies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. light brown sugar
    1 c. shortening
    1 c. granulated sugar
    2 beaten eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking soda
    3 c. quick oats
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Thoroughly cream brown sugar, sugar and shortening.
    Add the eggs and vanilla and beat well.
    Add the remainder of the ingredients and mix well.
    Divide dough into 3 rolls.
    Wrap in waxed paper and chill well.
    After about 1 hour, slice the rolls 1/4-inch thick.
    Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
