Never-Fail Meringue - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 egg whites
    6 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    salt
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 Tbsp. cold water
    1/2 c. boiling water
Preparation
    Blend cold water and cornstarch in pan.
    Add boiling water. Cook until mixture becomes clear.
    Cool.
    Beat egg whites (room temperature) until foamy.
    Add sugar gradually until stiff.
    Add cornstarch mixture; beat well.
    Spread over cooled pie filling. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
