Our Favorite Pineapple Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. milk
    1 lb. marshmallows
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. drained crushed pineapple
    1 c. whipped topping (dry, prepared)
    24 graham squares
    48 vanilla wafers, crushed
Preparation
    Melt marshmallows and milk over double boiler until thoroughly melted and mixed.
    Stir frequently.
    Remove from heat; add butter and stir until melted.
    Let mixture cool until mixture congeals. Add pineapple and whipped topping.
    Spread cracker crumbs in bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan (reserve 1/2 of crumbs).
    Spread with mixture and remaining crumbs.
    Chill for 4 or 5 hours.
