Bacon Water Chestnuts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans water chestnuts, drained
    soy sauce
    sugar
    bacon, sliced in half or thirds
Preparation
    Place water chestnuts in shallow bowl and cover with soy sauce.
    Marinate for 2 to 24 hours.
    Roll chestnuts in sugar and wrap with bacon securing with toothpick.
    Place on cookie sheet that has been lined with foil.
    Bake in a 400\u00b0 oven for 20 minutes, turning once.
    Drain on paper towels.
    Place on micro-safe platter.
    When ready to serve, reheat in microwave until hot.
