Frozen Waldorf Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple
    2 eggs, beaten
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. lemon juice
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    2 medium apples, chopped
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts
    1 c. whipping cream, whipped
Preparation
    Drain pineapple, reserving juice.
    Add enough water to juice to measure 1/2 cup.
    Combine juice with eggs, sugar, salt and lemon juice in medium saucepan; mix well.
    Cook over medium heat until thickened, stirring constantly.
    Cool.
    Add pineapple, celery, apples and walnuts; toss well.
    Fold in whipped cream. Spoon mixture into 8-inch square pan.
    Cover and freeze until firm.
