Strawberry Rhubarb Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 stick butter or margarine
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 large eggs
3 c. all-purpose flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. almond flavoring (optional)
4 c. sliced fresh rhubarb
1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry gelatin
Preparation

Cream butter or margarine.
Gradually add sugar and beat until light and fluffy. Add eggs and beat well.
Stir baking powder and salt into flour.
Add vanilla to milk.
Add flour mixture to batter in thirds, alternating with milk.
