Swedish Meatballs - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. mixed ground meat (beef, pork, veal)
1/3 c. water
1/3 c. fresh white bread crumbs
1/2 c. onion
1 tsp. salt
dash of white or black pepper
1 egg
1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
Preparation

In a bowl, combine bread crumbs and water.
Let soak for 5 minutes.
Peel onion.
Grate finely.
In another bowl, combine meat, grated onion, salt, pepper and egg.
Add crumb mixture. Combine until well blended.
Roll meat mixture into even meatballs with hands.
In a skillet, heat butter until melted and lightly browned.
Add meatballs, a few at a time.
Shake pan constantly and cook meatballs until brown all around and cooked through. Remove.
