Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    2 eggs
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. soda
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 2/3 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Mix shortening, 1 1/2 cups sugar and eggs.
    Add flour, soda, salt and cream of tartar.
    Chill dough.
    Roll into balls the size of walnuts.
    Roll in mixture of 2 tablespoons sugar and 2 teaspoons cinnamon.
    Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake until lightly browned, but still soft.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
