Raisin Penuche Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. butter
    1/3 c. brown sugar, packed
    1/3 c. light cream
    3 to 3 1/2 c. sifted powdered sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 c. chopped nuts
    1 c. coarsely chopped raisins
Preparation
    Combine butter, brown sugar and cream.
    Bring to a boil over medium heat.
    Remove from heat and gradually stir in powdered sugar until mixture is of a velvety spreading consistency.
    Add vanilla, nuts and raisins.
