Cottage Cheese Pie - cooking recipe

1 (16 oz.) carton cottage cheese
1 c. sugar
3 egg yolks
3 heaping Tbsp. flour
1/3 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
3 egg whites
Preparation

Rub cottage cheese with the sugar into a paste.
Add egg yolks and mix well.
Mix flour and salt.
Add milk and vanilla. Mix well. Beat egg whites until stiff. Fold into cheese mixture.
Pour into 9-inch unbaked pie crust and bake slowly at 250\u00b0 to 300\u00b0 in preheated oven for 1 hour.
