Prune Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 c. Wesson oil
3 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
2/3 tsp. nutmeg
2/3 tsp. cloves
2/3 tsp. allspice
2 c. flour
1 c. buttermilk
1 c. coconut
1 c. chopped pecans
1 c. cooked prunes (junior jar baby food)
1/2 c. raisins
Preparation

Mix sugar and oil; add eggs, one at a time, beating after each.
Sift salt, spices and flour; add alternately with milk. Add coconut, nuts and prunes and raisins.
Pour into tube pan. Place in cold oven.
Bake at 325\u00b0 1 hour and 15 minutes.
