Chicken Pot Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    pastry for 2 pie shells
    1/2 onion, chopped
    6 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    3 c. chicken broth
    3 c. chicken
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. peas and carrots
    1/4 c. chopped pimento
Preparation
    Cook onion in butter until tender.
    Add salt and flour.
    Add broth and stir.
    Mix the other stuff and pour in pie shell and put top on pie.
    Put slits in top.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 to 450\u00b0 approximately 30 minutes.
    Keep checking.
