Crisp Cabbage 'N Bacon - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. cabbage
    1/2 tsp. salt
    8 bacon slices
    1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Coarsely chop the cabbage.
    About 15 minutes before serving, in large skillet, cook bacon slices until crisp, 6 to 8 minutes. Remove from skillet.
    Pour off bacon fat.
    Return 2 tablespoons to skillet.
    Add cabbage, sprinkle with salt and pepper.
    Cover and cook 5 to 6 minutes, stirring once.
    Crumble bacon over cabbage. Serve.
