Egg White Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 egg whites, beaten stiff
    pinch of salt
    vanilla
    3/4 c. white sugar
    5 Tbsp. water
    1 Tbsp. white corn syrup
Preparation
    Boil the sugar, water and corn syrup until they spin a thread (approximately 5 minutes).
    Slowly add to the beaten egg whites. Add salt and vanilla.
    Beat until thick and shiny.
    I double this for an angel food cake.
