Chicken And Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 fryer, cut up, or 4 chicken breasts
    1/2 stick butter
    1 1/2 c. rice
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. basil leaves
    3 c. chicken broth or 3 bouillon cubes, dissolved in 3 c. water
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Salt and pepper chicken; brown in butter.
    Put rice in a 3 to 4-quart covered casserole dish.
    Stir in salt and basil.
    Pour broth over rice.
    Lay chicken on top. Cover; bake at 375\u00b0 for 1 hour, or until all liquid is absorbed. Let stand 15 minutes before serving.
