Broccoli Rice Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. cooked rice (1/2 c. raw)
    2 c. fresh broccoli, chopped or 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped
    3/4 c. chopped onion
    1/4 c. margarine or butter
    1/2 c. cheese spread
    1 (10 oz.) can cream of chicken soup
    1 tsp. butter or margarine (for greasing casserole)
    1 1/2 c. chopped chicken (optional)
Preparation
    In 10-inch skillet, saute chopped onions and broccoli in butter or margarine until onions are tender.
    Cook rice according to package directions in 2-quart saucepan.
    Add chicken soup and cheese spread to onions and broccoli.
    Stir all this into cooked rice.
    Grease 2-quart casserole dish with 1 teaspoon butter or margarine.
    Pour mixture into this.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes or until it is bubbly.
    Serves 6.
