Hot German Potato Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. bacon
1/2 c. chopped celery
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. bacon drippings
3 Tbsp. sugar
1 Tbsp. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. celery seed
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. water
1/3 c. cider vinegar
5 medium potatoes, cooked and cubed
Preparation

Cook bacon until crisp, drain and crumble.
Saute celery and onion in bacon drippings until tender.
Combine sugar, flour and seasonings; stir into drippings.
Add water and vinegar, stirring until smooth.
Bring to boil.
Add potatoes and bacon; mix.
Makes 6 servings.
