Old-Fashioned Lemonade - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 lemons
    2/3 c. sugar
    5 c. water
    5 leaves fresh mint
    4 thin slices fresh lemon
Preparation
    Cut lemons into small pieces, skin and all, reserving 4 thin slices.
    Mix
    the cut pieces with the sugar in heatproof bowl. Boil
    water
    and
    pour it over the lemon-sugar mixture. Let stand 10 minutes, no longer or a bitter taste will develop.
    Stamp down the mix with a potato masher;
    strain and pour into a jug; chill. When serving, decorate glasses of lemonade with mint leaves and lemon slices.
