Skillet Sticky Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. oil
    2 1/2 to 3 lb. broiler or fryer chicken
    1 pouch onion soup
    1/2 c. apricot or peach preserves
    1/4 c. barbecue sauce or ketchup
    1/4 c. water
Preparation
    Fry chicken until brown on all sides; pour off fat.
    In small bowl, mix remaining ingredients well.
    Stir into skillet.
    Reduce heat to low.
    Return chicken to skillet; cook for 30 minutes.
