Best-Ever Cube Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 large pieces cubed steak
    plain flour
    1 can golden mushroom soup
    1/2 can water
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 small onion
    salt and pepper to taste
    garlic powder to taste
    4 Tbsp. sour cream
Preparation
    Brown butter and onion.
    Remove onion.
    Brown steak; return onion.
    Add soup, water, and seasonings.
    Cook slowly, covered, for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
    Add sour cream to gravy.
    Serve.
