3/4 c. shortening
2 eggs
3 c. all-purpose flour
2 c. buttermilk
4 Tbsp. cocoa
2 Tbsp. soda
1 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation

This will make a 9-inch, 2 layer cake or 8-inch, 3 layer cake.
